The Production / MC / DJ team of SESION31 consists of the two members, SKEME RICHARDS and FREDY BLAST. The duo joined forces nearly 15 years ago when Skeme met Fredy Blast (then known as DJ Groove, a Philly legend). The two have had major success on the Philly underground scene but have yet had the opportunity to get that one break that would truly set them afloat. Fredy Blast, who has been idolized for his production skills since the mid 80's and Skeme Richards have recently completed their Long Awaited EP (untitled). This EP consists of 8 sure to get you open songs that come from their unique perspective of Hip-Hop.

SESION31 is pretty much a self-contained entity which handles everything from production and recording services to having a full staff for doing photography, graphic designs and videos. During the second quarter of 2003 the team will begin hosting their own radio show titled THE FUNK BROS. PRESENTS: INTERNET HIP-HOP RADIO, which will showcase new artists from their stable as well as up and coming acts from other independant labels, and guest DJ spots.

Note: Fredy Blast is also known for DJing on a weekly radio show with host Bahamadia called B-Sides. This show was known for breaking alot of the underground acts that came from independent labels such as Rawkus, ABB, Stones Throw and others.

Upcoming collaborations includes new material with Philly based group Prophets of the Ghetto and The World Supeme DJ Cash Money.
